The main purpose of using this port is to connect it to an HDMI cable so that I can enlarge my laptop's screen. A few hours after installing and using the drive, my big screen disconnected from the laptop and the laptop showed the error "USB drive not compatible with PC" (or something similar). My laptop is brand new (Lenovo Yogi 7i) and since then nothing works with the USB port on the laptop (e.g. external hard drive, Logitech mouse/keyboard and USB speakers). The only way to solve the problem is to restart my laptop, but every day the same problem occurs: my laptop shows that the port is incompatible and disconnects all devices from it. Had to buy another port - will never buy from this brand/seller again.
