I bought this 'tool' because it was significantly cheaper and available sooner than the OTC kit recommended elsewhere (7483A). It has the necessary parts to grab the back of the water pump pulley, but lacks the H-piece to screw the bolt on from the front and actually remove the pulley from the camshaft. OTC has a separate part number for this, 7245, but it's also quite expensive. You can get the part you need through the tool rental programs at major parts stores (for free) - you will need to rent a steering wheel puller like O'Reilly's 67011. Also, for some inexplicable reason, the nut that pulls the pulley back onto the camshaft is round on the outside. Save yourself the hassle and buy a 1/2-20 nut at your local hardware store and use that instead. Screw the shaft included in this kit into the camshaft with the spacer and this nut on the larger thread. Once screwed into the camshaft, tighten the nut and the pulley will snap back into place.
