Ideal for caramel melts

Sweet melts float perfectly after a short stay in the freezer (10 minutes?). I tapped the countertop lightly with the tray to dislodge the bubbles. The top rack dishwasher does a great job. I'm assuming you want the tray to be completely dry before pouring the melts. Melt candy according to package directions. Extra melting candies can be taken out and placed in the fridge and will last forever. Crunchy brushed rice treats with melted white candy melt before the "stars and stripes" appear on top.
