My last pair of headphones were the Jaybird Bluebud X which I have had for a few years now. They were wireless, but there was a cable between the L and R that got caught on low branches while mowing, which I had to deal with until the headphones eventually stopped charging. I came across these while looking for new headphones. The 150 hour case was the biggest benefit for me. Once received, the bass quality is very good, very little distortion, and the only thing missing is probably a flatter soundstage and reduced stereo image. Everything else is great! They are comfortable and the freedom of movement is driving my old bluebuds crazy! If the wire ran between the L and R it would rub and snag on the hoodies and pull one or the other, the wire would occasionally fall out of my ear under its own weight etc. They fit so well and comfortably with no protrusions. ear, they never get caught, the sound quality is very good, they are very light and comfortable. The sensory system has a 10 minute learning curve to develop the muscle memory in your finger to do what you want it to do, but after that it's gravy. I am very impressed. The price is much lower than what I usually pay. In the past, I've spent $180-$300 on quality headphones because, while I'm not an absolute music lover, I value quality sound. I've worked in the custom electronics industry installing and calibrating $10,000-$100,000 worth of audio systems and audio equipment, using a Yamaha HS8 on my desktop system, which has some of the best stereo imaging in the monitor speaker range, and though these headphones are not perfect, they do not disappoint me. There's 90% of it, and while I could pay significantly more for that extra 10% to get a more perfect picture and sound scene, that's part of the price. Absolutely loved it and would buy another pair. Not Updated. The quality of the microphone call has not yet been tested and they prioritize business calls, but as long as the other party can hear me I'm fine. As long as they exist, I would buy them again. There's snow on the ground now, but I'm looking forward to mowing season! Maybe even start exercising again. :-)
