Review on Schwalbe 29X2 35 Tubeless Snakeskin 23 50PSI by Ahmed Jackson

Beautiful tire! 29 x 2.35 Hans Dampf

These tires fit my 2013 Transition Covert 29er. This year I rode them 800 miles and 80,000 vertical climbs in the Utah Rockies. I use Ghetto Tubeless and they fit snugly and never flex. I'm 195 prepared and ready to go. I run them at 28psi and they are front and rear. The large-volume tire enables daring driving through rock gardens. Also, they really stick out in the corners. This is the first set of tires I've ridden that are insanely sticky in corners and constantly drifting back and forth together on slick gravel corners. At speed they allow me to lock the wheels in corners and I get plenty of pop to prepare for the next corner or to get back on the pedals. The tread pattern has no dead zones so they engage evenly when I'm cornering. My bike has full suspension so I don't know how they will perform on anything else. I would definitely go this route again. They just have to be cheaper. Having not ridden the Ardent 29x2.4 I will probably try it next time as there are many good reviews with similar ride characteristics except for the dead center which I hope is low on many reviewers as he is worth 20 dollars. less :( You won't be disappointed with Hans Dumpf if you want to ride like a berserker in all conditions and always be chasing those Strava segments. They'll let you ride up the hill and down the rough ridge all over the place. They're a little heavier than some high-volume offerings for 29ers, but it's in all the right places when you're flying into rocks (the size of a bowler hat) and you know you can just hit the first big rock and clear the rest, or sit back and aim for the next turn able to pave 800 miles without slowing down and my knobs are showing some wear but are still fully rideable. The Ardent I mentioned above needs to meet that standard or I'll be right back on the for 2Days Prime Hans :) 5 stars! I would definitely buy them again. 6/17 Ardents aren't as strong as HD :( I currently ride them and will update this review once more information is available.
