This hard drive installed perfectly. Just plug in and get started! I used this drive to replace a damaged HP Z840 SU-208GB DVD drive. What I didn't know was that there are two thin drives, so I accidentally ordered a 12.7mm thin drive, but quickly figured this out trying to install. . This type of drive is available for two or three times the price, but why bother when this economical drive works great and does the same job. I would highly recommend this CD to anyone. Just make sure you are the right size.
