Update: OMG. How embarrassing. I totally forgot that I didn't turn on the switch. Gak! When my idiocy was discovered, the press worked perfectly. And yes, the sandwich was delicious. Sorry Breville, I have to apologize and give a well deserved 5 stars! That was great. Another Breville superfood. It was easy to use. Maybe only 20-30 times. And never abused. These grilled cheese sandwiches were delicious. But today I connected it and nothing. Nadda. ZIP code No light. There is no heat. It's toast for no apparent reason. I really expected a high quality, heavy duty device at $120 to last longer than light use, over 2 years. To date it would have had 5 stars. Very disappointed Breville.
