Review on Enhance Your Performance with the Continental Ultra Sport III Road Cycling Bike Tire by Eric Cooper

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great city tires! Update for 3 months at the end of the review.

As any reader knows, this is the only review that tells you what you really need to know. I read them myself and there are some bad reviews here so I'll fix that in a moment. As a bike mechanic, reading these reviews made me think that every bad review comes from someone who doesn't ride around every day at all, or has absolutely no idea what they're doing and can't work on bikes. As for my rating, I really like these tires. They were very easy to install. The reviews say they are difficult to assemble, I don't know what they are talking about. So easy. My race tires are Schwalbe Pro 1, very difficult to fit now but they were much easier and half the price. I have red and blue to emphasize the look of my trek which I use for daily riding and training. They look amazing and come in a variety of color options to match almost any bike, roll very smoothly and the rubber compound they're made of is pretty durable for commuting. My race tires dent fairly easily as they aren't designed for rocks and pebbles, but they take the hit like a master. For the price, these tires can't be beat. As for the apartments and these reviews, again, they don't know what they're buying and what they're talking about. They are not designed for absolute puncture resistance and do not claim to be. Do yourself a favor and pick up a set of Stop Flat 2 rubber inserts from Revain for less than $15. I have them on all my bikes and have not punctured any of my wheels in over a year and I ride harder and harder than anyone I know. Just look at my photos and videos, they show how well they sit on the rim and how awesome they look. Conclusion: You need a great tire for your bike, just choose the right color and order it. Update: 3 months later I replaced them with an equivalent, more expensive set of Bontrager tires. yes, it lasted maybe 3-4 days, and only because I gave them at least a chance to conquer me. They failed miserably, and those continents returned. The Bontragers just didn't feel as smooth, didn't absorb as much impact from bumps, weren't as balanced (I especially felt the balance was off balance when driving hands-free), and didn't also feel like they are grabbing the sidewalk. Basically, these Continental tires were better in every category I compared them to. These tires don't look very worn and I think I'll be replacing them with a new set of exactly the same in about 5-6 months. Now I ride like crazy, obsessed with speed and the adrenaline that passing cars bring on my bike, I ride 20+ miles almost daily and I ride my bike harder in one day than most in a year (or more) . ), I service my bikes quite often as it's a must when you ride like I do and 9 months on tires might not sound like a lot but I've probably ridden a lot more than 2000 miles on them already, so it's really damn good. As long as they can withstand any weather damage they see, the average rider should be able to get decent use from these continental bikes for at least a few years. Still a 5 star tire from me and highly recommended, 110%
