Does exactly what it promises. But if you want to shave like a razor, you know what? After this razor, my face looks like it was shaved the night before. But I'm still happy with it because I'm disabled and can go a week or even two without shaving. I usually have to pull out a small portable hair clipper to trim my hair before I shave. With this razor I make it easy! It also keeps the loot in the sink as it doesn't work like a clipper and scatters the mustache all over the bathroom vanity. I can't comment on how long the blades last since I only started using them 3 weeks ago and of course every body size is different.
