I love this product. It does not cover my bike as shown in the photo; at the front it is about six inches shorter, leaving part of the tire exposed. My bike is a Trek Shift 2 hybrid, primarily for touring and long-distance travel, so I knew it would probably be too big for full coverage. However, I use my trek for transport all year round as I am an environmentally conscious student and this cover protects the trek from ice and snow. I live in the Midwest and it gets cold and uncomfortable here. I like the strap on the bottom because it allows you to secure the guard around the bike so the wind doesn't blow it off. For added security, you can thread the bike lock through the two slots on the front and bottom to secure the protector and bike (through the front wheel) to a secure rack. Having moved to a place where I don't have space to store the Trek in it has been exposed to all weather conditions keeping the brake housings, cogs, chain etc in good condition and protected from the elements.
