I love this thing. Not coming to a traditional pottery studio, the Porcelaine 150 is the best for me. If you follow the instructions exactly, you shouldn't have any problems. Be sure to read the instructions and don't guess. My articles have been around for a while. They've all been in the dishwasher and microwave so many times I've lost count, and they look perfect - no chipping, fading, or cracking. And I didn't have a fire in the microwave either (someone handed me a mug of nail polish and didn't tell me about it, when I blew up the mug my fire alarm went off and I had to replace the glass top - growls) Now you need to build up some of the colors, there some of them are a bit transparent on the first brush. But take your time. If you smear the color, your baking results will be disappointing. Be patient. And let it dry between coats. It dries quickly so you don't have to wait long (at least 5 minutes). If you make a (small) mistake, just let it dry, take a cotton swab soaked in alcohol and blot until it disappears. If you've made an even bigger mess (or just hate your design), simply wash it off with soap and water. This is a bonus if like me you are picky. You must have an OVEN - this will not work in a "toaster" or microwave. And you need to wait at least 24 hours for thicker paint. But the wait is sooooo worth it. You will love your results for a very, very long time. I know that. (I've added some photos of my favorite projects)
