Review on Schwalbe Pro One Race and Road Folding Clincher Bike Tire with Evolution Line, Addix Race, Multiple Sizes, and Black Color by David Bar

Good tire and definitely better than the Schwalbe One it replaces. Out of the box fit and finish are vastly improved over the Schwalbe One and the compound feels very flexible and sticky. Assembly was perhaps the easiest I've experienced as the bar snapped into place with little to no effort. After a few hundred miles of riding, the Pro One is holding up well with no scratches, cuts or flats. I had to lower the pressure a bit as this tire is stiffer than the Vittoria Corsa it replaced. I made 10 psi less and everything is much smoother now. That's why I can't give five stars. Twice the rear wheel seemed to slip a bit when cornering fast. It was smooth, dry tarmac with no road debris, so it wasn't the conditions. Not enough slip to be intimidating, but it was noticed nonetheless. Overall: Recommended, especially for ease of installation and durability. Schwalbe makes very good tires, although you probably won't see any other set on a club ride.
