These memory cards are both a blessing and a curse because they are the only 16GB memory cards that can completely fill a ThreadRipper motherboard (128GB). They do not work reliably at XMP2 speeds (DDR4 3200, 1.35V). I have 4 x 64GB sticks on a Gigabyte Designare ThreadRipper 1950x. Unfortunately, I had to swap out six memory sticks to get a stable DDR4-3200 system. Several sticks were DoA. Two more only worked on DDR4 2666 (not 3200). Last week a memory stick just died after six weeks of use. Now you need to spend time on Corsair's RMA process. One of my Ryzen systems uses the G-Skill FlareX 3200 and I haven't had any major issues. I wonder if this is an issue with Hynix chips versus SamsungB. Unless you want to go below DDR 3200 memory and need 128GB of memory, I would avoid that memory at least for x399 ThreadRipper systems. I test the memory with HCI MemTest.
