Review on All-Weather Black Rubber Floor Mats for 2010-2015 Kia Optima - TMB by Tim Woods

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good quality - 90% fit

Purchased for a 2011 Kia Sportage. These are excellent quality rugs. They are heavy but flexible. The stability holes in the front floor mats perfectly match the studs of the 2011 Sportage floor pan. However, the mat on the driver's side is too wide where the throttle is. (Someone mentioned this in a previous review of the Sportage 2012 - I was hoping my Sportage 2011 wouldn't have this issue, but it does). If you try to push the mat under the lever, the gas tank will open. So your only options are to just leave it on the lever or cut the mat. However, these rugs are so heavy that a utility knife will likely be required to cut them, and I'm not sure I can be that accurate with a utility knife. The rear mats fit NEARLY. Kia doesn't have stability buttons for the rear floor mat, so you don't have to worry about matching holes. If the manufacturer had simply cut these mats about 1/4 inch less around the perimeter, they would fit perfectly. They are larger by about 1/8-1/4 inch in all directions. Since the floor mats are a bit large where the front seats are bolted to the floor at the back, the mat creases a bit and cannot lie completely flat. Also, the rear mat is one-piece, not two-piece. I like it because it protects the midsection, but the image shown in Revain shows two separate back pads. These rugs are workable so I'll leave the kit but for the price they should fit like a glove. If they were around $50 or even $60 I would think they are a great deal. I'll add some photos later. The hanger they arrived on says "For Sportage 2014+". So I'm wondering if you have a 2014 or 2015 that might fit like a glove? For 2011 they fit and work fairly well, but aren't exactly perfect.
