As an experienced rider over 30, I realized very early on that any bicycle lamp is only as good as its handlebar mount; While the light is good and feels solid, a poorly constructed plastic bike light mount will ultimately let you down. Sooner rather than later. I drive 50-100+ miles a day into the night. The last thing I need is to pull out the mounting straps to fix a weak or broken mount. My photos show the plastic mount, its weak point; Where there is a hole or a long oblong piece, there is no plastic. The result is a very weak part of the bracket. Why didn't they make a one-piece strap? Beats me! I've sent them my opinion and I can either accept a better mount or just go back completely. The light itself is great, but it's only as good as the mount! I can just keep shelling out $150 or more for better, mountain bike specific, better made headlights with a great strong mount. Just thought it was a good deal? Right now; It's worth 2 stars. Will serve as a paperweight until I make a final decision.
