I have no problem with this slide. I polish properly, I've noticed some lift on the smaller details ie the jewelry. Obviously, lead-free solder is used in jewelry that requires very high temperatures. There might be some lift, I'll keep an eye on it as I go. I can cut it with an exact knife if needed. I use 1/4" tin/lead solder sun traps and haven't encountered any problems. I use other types of foil as well. They are all different but I really find it very user friendly. Nothing I've used this foil for is fell apart. I've seen several reviews saying exactly that. Make sure you polish properly and have good solder lines,
