After we moved into our first house together, my boyfriend and I received a set of Shun and Wüsthof knives from our friend's chef. With our first holiday dinner on the horizon, we set out in search of a sharpener that could handle every type of blade we have. We ended up at Work Sharp and have never looked back. Any intimidation about sharpening our new knives went away the first time we used them. I like the technical features, the gear shifting and the fact that it turns off automatically. My favorite part is the guides on the sharpening rod - until now I never really knew how the rod was supposed to be used! Whether you're sharpening our Shun Nigiri Chopper, our little paring knife, or our vintage Global chef's knife, this sharpener does a fantastic job and does it with ease. Highly recommended.
