I was very surprised by this product. For the price, I expected it to be a knock-off that doesn't live up to the specs. I did a quick test with a 1 inch (25.4mm) square on a bent piece of metal using a temperature controlled heat gun. The metal was of very low mass to avoid heat dissipation, being only 0.015 inches thick and 1 square inch in area. At 340F everything was fine after 5 minutes. At 360°F, the adhesive delaminated from the areas subjected to the most stress. After 10 minutes at 850F, no melting occurred but the adhesive began to discolor. After a few minutes at 900F there was a slight discoloration of the material itself.
