Review on SINGER 40792 Stiletto Ripper Multi by Kim Sanchez

Works great. Ideal for traveling with a sewing machine. Convenient size and tool two in one. I was able to pull out a variety of stitches from canvas fabric sewn with padding thread (very thick thread) with no problem. The lid holds securely. Ripper is sharp enough and strong enough. Better than low level seam ripper. TIP: Be careful to slide the line into the ripper as the blade is on the curve of the ripper so you don't cut yourself while using it. DO NOT use a seam opening tip. Seam rippers are not seam openers. The stiletto is a little short and the tip a little wide, but other than that it works well. Most stilettos allow the fabric to be pulled straight to the needle, which is great for quilting. It can only be used up to the sewing machine foot. Not as efficient, but still works. Possibly better for a beginner seamstress or quilter, will not damage fabric or break needle. The rubber tip sticks well to most fabrics. It should work well on delicate fabrics or anything that can be damaged by a sharp stylet.
