Review on 🎥 StarTech.com USB Video Recorder - HDMI Capture Card - 1080p - 60fps - HDMI DVI VGA (USB3HDCAP) Black by Kavon Wiley

I've had trouble disabling USB on various laptops in the past, so I originally gave this one 1 star. After a few years I noticed that there is FINALLY a new Startech driver for Windows 10 on their website. Tried it out and happy to report that the blackouts are completely gone. Now I can record continuously and am very happy with the flexibility of this USB 3 video capture device. I am planning to connect OSSC to it so I can play and record PS2 and Xbox 480i and 1080i content without snow artifacts. USB3HDCAP is almost 3 years old and may be ahead of its time. I am happy to say that it has matured well and has become a great product. I would give 6 STARS if I could! UPDATE: It's been 5 years since I bought this and I'm still having disconnects. It was only yesterday that I finally realized my problem was that the device was not getting enough power. I decided to buy a powerful USB3 hub. Problem solved!
