Review on πŸͺ‘ OSP Home Furnishings Wicker Papasan Chair: 360-Degree Swivel, Cream Frame, Black Cushion - Ultimate Comfort and Style by Jessica Shakman

Rubbish, worst thing I have ever bought

I have never written reviews but felt compelled to write one because this chair was so bad. This chair has a weight capacity of 200 pounds and I weigh 190 pounds. I've used those cheap $50 folding chairs in the past and they typically last 6 months to a year before the screw/bolt holding one side together breaks or comes out. Even then I could put in a new screw/bolt and keep using it. I saw this papasan chair from OSP Designs with good reviews and decided to spend more money and get a higher quality chair but I was very wrong. The first problem with this is that the cushion that comes with it sucks. It was uncomfortable as I could feel the metal when I sat on it. I bought a Blazing Needles firm twill papasan chair cushion here at Revain to use instead. It was much more comfortable and I was happy with the chair at the time. However, within a month a screw/bolt on the back of the base broke out of the weld and the chair began to wobble/wobble. I drilled through the entire pipe and inserted a bolt/washer/bolt to reinforce it. And at that moment I was happy with the chair again. Over the next few months, the ball bearings popped out of the chair from time to time. Then one of the thin round metal rods supporting the pillow broke. The chair now wobbles/rocks from right to left and also bends and tilts to the right I believe. Right now there is no way to be happy with this piece of junk. It falls apart left and right and it's pretty funny until I think about the money I paid for it plus the money for a better pillow. I bought the chair for $125 but I see it's $200 elsewhere. This chair is an absolute scam and should have less weight. My guess is that most people who rate it 4-5 stars either don't use the chair very often or weigh a lot less than its 200-pound weight capacity. Then this chair could be just the thing for you.
