I love my new Tekchic Burner! I have different kinds and this one is now my favorite. It's heavy and well made. If you follow the instructions on how to use the handles, this is an amazing machine! The "do not turn all the way" was a little hectic, but I never turned it more than 3/4 of the way. There's no reason to go higher. The solder button is higher, but not as high. All solder pin tips screw in perfectly and that was a big problem I had with other torches, these tips "moved". when drawing and create inconsistencies when burning. You will also receive many tips and supplements. The carving pencil (I think it's a chisel) was actually a cool little tool and I already have plans to use it to add dimension to one of the paintings I'm working on. My only issue with this burner is that there is definitely a sweet spot on the dial when shading, and it took me a few tries to find it. But as you can see in the photo, it fits very well! Don't judge too harshly as it's just a hobby and I'm not an artist.
