The new charging cable C is really FAST and this product is significantly cheaper than some others. They have withstood the rigors of a 17-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl for six weeks and are still in perfect condition. They were used daily to charge a MacBook Pro for continuous school use. It's so fast that my two kids can charge their school device and then their phone through the MacBook and then charge the MacBook very quickly with the C-cable and the teachers won't attack you for using the outlet for too long.
