Turns dumb LEDs into smart LEDs

This is an overview of several bundled products. I paired a Broadlink RM Mini 3 (universal intelligent IR remote) with 50W and 70W RGB SGLED spotlights for outdoor lighting. This is a good cheap do-it-yourself solution to build powerful and bright smart lighting that can be controlled with Alexa (or other smart apps). I first tried two smart IR controllers with the Smart Life app (MOEs smart IR and zemismart). They were good but not good enough. They got the job done but weren't consistent with custom scenes and triggers. In comparison, the RM Mini does a good job, but there are scene/trigger issues about 5% of the time. Whereas the Smart Life app had a 50% success rate for me. In any case, SGLEDs are very bright and colorful. I am very happy with the pastel colors that are out there as I was afraid there would only be bright red, blue and green like so many dumb LED products do. SGLEDs also don't get very hot, but feel warm to the touch. I have used these spotlights to create accent lighting for my playroom and parties. Buy really smart lightbulbs if you want that level of control. For my purposes these headlights did the job and were incredibly bright. You can't beat the price and the brightness you get. I've attached photos and videos showing how I assembled the RM Mini 3 to control everything. Basically I got the RM mini to learn the whole SGLED remote. Then I created the custom scenes I needed in the IHC app (Broadlink app). After that I plugged in an Alexa IHC Skill to connect to the RM Mini 3. The scenes were then made available for Alexa voice commands. The RM Mini 3 itself was very easy to set up and has a good range. Compared to the smartlife app on Zemi smart and moe devices, the Broadlink RM Mini 3 wins. It is easier to use, very logical and the scenes are much more reliable.
