The shorts are clearly well made. The material feels stiff and there are unnecessary sewing issues. The water beads up pretty easily, which is another good point. The shorts have a lot of deep comfortable pockets, which for me is one of the main advantages. I have a small complaint and these shorts are a bit tight. Not only are they a little tight in the waist, which is surprising given the elasticated waist, the shorts are also fairly tight in the hips. This restricts my freedom of movement somewhat and reduces the practical use of these so-called "tactical" shorts. Most of the cargo shorts I usually wear have more hip room, which makes it easier to move. Overall I love these shorts and would recommend them, but if you have bigger legs like me these aren't going to be the most comfortable shorts.
