Review on Melitta Espresso Cappuccino Machine MEX 1B by Rob Dixon

Great car but I was surprised to find out I was buying a 'new' car that had obviously been on the shelf for over 15 years. The accompanying documentation states copyright 2000. The outer box was red with faded spots from exposure to light. However, the inner packaging was great protection for the device and finding the included video cassette with instructions on how to make coffee with the device was fun to say the least. But with all this, the device works perfectly and prepares an excellent espresso. The controls are well thought out and easy to understand. My only complaint is that there is excessive pouring onto the metal "cross brace" in the inlet where you pour water into the machine, causing the water to splash and fizz as you pour it into the machine. This simply means a slower filling of the machine and otherwise does not negatively affect the performance of the machine. I would prefer this car to the Mr. Competition brand.
