We got these crayons because our kids love to paint and draw. One word to describe this pencil sharpener. It has two holes for sharpening pencils of different diameters, which is pretty cool. I have yet to buy a thicker colored pencil, but if I do I will have no problem sharpening it. can also be powered by 4 AA batteries. I prefer using it with batteries so it's less cluttered with cords and easy to take to different places. I also appreciate that it comes with a set of spare sharpening blades but I'm sure the original blades will last a very long time. Blades are easily removed or replaced by simply lifting the spring on top of the blade. I love that it has a see through lid so you can see how full it is and as soon as you remove the lid the motor shuts off. for security. Oh it comes with a cleaning brush :) Overall I'm very impressed with this versatile pencil sharpener. 5 stars out of 5.** Video added so check it out! **
