This instrument was very thick and had jagged edges. .

This tool was very thick and had jagged edges. I used some sandpaper on the edges to minimize damage when removing the door panel on my 2005 Toyota Corolla. Given the possibility of ordering it again, I would order one of the better and thinner staple removers available on Amazon.
