My Oxo can opener broke after years and many washes so I bought a Gorilla and after reading the reviews I was hoping it would be a good alternative. Unfortunately, after 2-3 uses, Gorilla did the same: as soon as I started cutting in a nice clean spot, she just refused to continue. Try again. Little progress here and there. The end result is quite dangerous hand removal of the lid. However, I kept the guarantee on the box, contacted the company via email and their response was prompt and friendly, offering a refund which I accepted.
