Very pretty but packaging has been opened

I have this bathroom door stopper to keep it open so our cat (or cat) can get in to use her tray. It doesn't look particularly sturdy, which is fine for an apartment bathroom, may not be suitable for a heavier door. For us, the light weight is great and it does the job. Looks very good. The package was open, the tapes on the sides were peeling and it had a small stain when it arrived, leading me to believe it may have been used. I'm not going to send it back because, you know, it's a doorstop; but dock a star for the poor packaging.
