Review on 3M 1080 Carbon Fiber Anthracite Vinyl Wrap Roll with Air-Release and Toolkit (2ft x 5ft) - Enhanced SEO by Michael Powell

I used 3M carbon film on the hood of my Audi A4 B6. The varnish has peeled off from many years outdoors without waxing. I didn't want to repaint the hood even though I have the equipment and know how to do it - I just didn't want to spend that much time. I've never used vinyl before but it only took me 3 hours to wrap the hood and 2 of those hours were spent sanding the hood smooth. Applying the film was relatively easy to learn using the heat/stretch/scrap technique and the film can be peeled off if you make a mistake. Watch some videos online for helpful tips. The end result looks great and I didn't have to mess around with painting/wet sanding/polishing.
