General; those are great lights. I used them in front of the house at Christmas and I doubt I would use them any other time of the year; However, it's a shame not to be used year-round. App and instructions are bad. You need a microscope to see the instructions which are poorly explained and very confusing. Then it is also not clear to connect them to the phone via Bluetooth. You need to have the lights on and be a bit tech savvy to understand the iPhone/Bluetooth/App. One day I downloaded the app and finally got it working; it won't stay and I have to fiddle around every night to get it working again. Once you get it working; then I would suggest you put it on the light pattern you like, otherwise you might lose it the next night. Also quite disappointing; There is NO schedule in the app. This feature is available on most Smart Alexa/Google devices. Not these lights/app. Therefore, you need to buy a separate smart plug or connect it to a timer so that it turns on and off at the right time. Once you start the application; You will enjoy the beautiful view of these lights. My neighbors all commented that it's very similar to Disney in terms of features. I would advise you to pay extra for the insurance offered by Revain as it is a technical item and these bulbs are NOT CHEAP! A few years ago I bought a set of GE Christmas lights from Costco for $50 and they lasted two or three seasons and then only worked halfway. I redid them last year. I just bought this house and decided to invest in a set of Christmas lights every year. I would feel like it was really worth it if they sold for $25-$30. Again. I just bit the bullet and I hope they'll be with me for a while. It would be great if they lasted for years. I bought three strings and they are pretty easy to hook up. I would buy more strings if or when the price goes down, say after Christmas. What I hope will happen. The lights will not remain a solid multi-effect; You should put it in a moving template with multiple colors and set the timer to the lowest setting so it at least appears like all the lights are on, but they're still moving. It would be a nice feature for the few models they offer to be single color multicolored. Maybe they will improve this feature in the future. I took photos to help you choose these lights. I
