Needed cheap DDR2 memory to upgrade an old machine. Since DDR2 is harder to find these days, many vendors are offering very competitive prices for it. Luckily I've had good luck with Komputerbay storage since my last purchase as I was willing to try the thing. She got up immediately, the SPD was read out correctly and I didn't have to make any settings. *Note* This memory is NOT designed for overclocking. Timings aren't great, but if you're looking for top-of-the-line performance, this isn't the place for you. I have a small overclock on the CPU, but I have to separately tune the memory down to the base frequency of 800MHz, otherwise the system just freezes. I am happy with the purchase and will use these products again in a real project.
