I do NOT like the touchpad. I have 2 of these and returned another because I couldn't get the touchpad to work properly. The humidifier is difficult to turn off via the touchpad, and when you turn it off by unplugging it, water flows out of it until it's empty. I live where it's almost always warm in the winter, so a humidifier is a must. I've had numerous brands and styles, and touchpad issues aside, this is by far the best. No dirty filter to replace, a top-loading tank big enough to last all night, and an opening big enough to put your hand in to clean. (Note* I have small hands) The touchpad issue isn't serious enough to deter me from buying this device, but I'd give it a 10 if it had a nice old-fashioned power button.*
