I purchased my first one on January 5, 2021, after my previous spin mop (O-Cedar) didn't work very well and didn't have the features that the Tsmine has. Also invested money in 6 additional mop-heads.Sometime this May, the Tsmine top metal spin basket started squeaking while spinning and pieces of the mop head frequently were getting stuck in the bottom section device where the water is so that started to not spin properly. As August 2022 approached, the upper spinner pretty much stopped spinning altogether and was squeaking loudly.From the minute the item arrived, I was very cautious with it because numerous consumers said in reviews that they had various issues with the mop-piece failing to work, so I knew to be gentle.I recently was able to remove "mop threads" from the bottom spinning apparatus, but forget about the top portion. Seems like the top metal basket kept getting stuck and when I would gently pull it upwards so it would spin again, the minute I put the mop in, the basket sunk down again and it would NOT spin or would be very tough to spin and made squeaking sounds.I decided to buy a second one, just today (in August 2022) because this product has the best features of any item of its type that I could find. When taking the previous one apart to put in the trash, I was able to remove the top metal basket and noticed that the metal piece connected to the plastic piece where the metal basket sits on top was 100% rusted!For the price, I expect a longer life, and maybe the second one is a newer model that will withstand the test of time.It is important to note that I am a "light user" of this product. Average use is one or two times per month on tile pavers, and not always the entire house. So that is even more discouraging that with light use, it just doesn't survive.
