Absolutely brilliant! Ford Motor Company must buy up the patent and allow the inventor to retire on an island in the Caribbean. It's sad these days when manufacturers are smart with pennies and dumb with dollars. Many of us prefer to change the oil ourselves, and while the o-ring drain plug design is virtually indestructible, it's plastic and hot oil spilling out of the engine pan makes a mess! Once installed, the Ronin not only lets you control the rate at which the old (and did I say hot?) oil is drained, but it also offers a hose fitting that lets you connect a 5/8-inch hose , to safely route the used oil oil. No more garage floor messes, car chassis messes and cooked front arms! A must have for any new Ford owner who loves to do their own maintenance.
