They worked great and were SUPER easy to install! One screw at the bottom of the screen and pull out the old memory, insert the new sticks in the same orientation. Literally takes 2 minutes. Worked wonders on my early 2008 iMac 8.1. The computer was so slow that it took 5 to 10 minutes to boot from turning on to being ready to use. Old and outdated browsers could not be updated. Now, with the update, that time has instantly accelerated to less than a minute. I was able to upgrade to Snow Leopard and then El Capitan along with all the new updated web browsers and apps. The computer runs so smoothly and can run multiple programs without any noticeable lag. This update should keep us going for at least a few more years. Run like a champion again! Highly recommended!
