I installed it very easily. I have a white 2009 MacBook. First I removed the battery, unscrewed and removed the metal strip surrounding the battery, pulled out the old ram cards and put in the new ones. They worked great and were SUPER easy to install! One screw at the bottom of the screen and pull out the old memory, insert the new sticks in the same orientation. Literally takes 2 minutes. Having no computer experience, I was able to figure out how to install these and others, and then encountered some difficulty extracting the old module (stuck for some reason).
