Review on ☕ Optimal Brew Thermal System Coffee Maker by Mr. Coffee - 10 Cup Capacity by Stacy Sanders

We have had this coffee maker for a year now and we really liked how quiet it was how hot the coffee was and how quickly it was time to prepare it. And I'm glad this machine works for some of the people who gave it positive feedback, because when it works, it's great! HOWEVER all leak reviews are true and I have to blame all these people as I confess when I read these leaked reviews I blamed it on operator error because honestly how hard is it to start a coffee maker? But after a year of struggling, cleaning up afterwards, flattery, pleading, swearing, compliments when he did well, stressing and caring (damn, I have a husband for that), I've realized the mistake about my path and myself Sincere apologies to those reviewers - I'd offer you a cup of coffee but, well, you know. . Anyway, we got tired of cleaning our countertops because Mr. Coffee had a bad design (there's nothing like starting the day cleaning up the mess instead of enjoying a cup of hot coffee - kinda confusing) . Bad mood). So in the trash - a coffee maker, not my husband :-). I'm not going to give it away because why would I give this thing to some poor, clueless coffee drinker who has never done anything to me? (hmmmm but my mother in law is there...) No matter what filter we used, or a coffee grinder, or cleaned the basket and filter before use, it leaks, especially when we wanted a full pot. Cooking half a pot with your thumbs crossed defeats the purpose of even having this machine. I figured out what and where the machine is clogging - when the coffee grounds are "washed" out of the basket during the brewing process, they settle right where the brewed coffee goes into the carafe. To clean the area so that this hole is no longer clogged, you need to pull out the basket, put the whole machine to the sink and wash it with the spray nozzle, which is cumbersome because the machine is not small. Coffee has ALWAYS been my favorite brand of coffee maker. My first in the 1980's made great coffee and lasted almost forever. This coffee maker replaces the Mr. Kaffee which stopped working two months after receiving it (that should have been a wake up call). But it's time to go. Mr. Coffey, you let me down, I don't trust you anymore. It's time to move to higher ground (pun intended). So, for the person looking for a coffee maker if you like living on the edge (whether it leaks or not), constantly cleaning countertops, or want a special gift. For relatives, this coffee maker is just what you need. Otherwise keep looking.
