I have to admit I never cleaned my sliding door because I didn't have the right tools. - Wrapped with both sides of foam (which I moistened) and made very easy to care for. I was able to easily detach the foam from the plastic mount and wash it. It's amazing how much dirt went down the drain. I should mention that before washing I used the included brush and small frying pan to pick up most of the dirt in the indentation next to the caterpillar. It was very easy with the tools that were so well suited to the job. Works just as well on my windows!
