The Levolution system consists of this Evolver gun, caps and tile spacers. you use the spacers as you tile, and before your thinset dries you place the caps over the spacers and tighten them with the evolver tool. Youtube has videos that show you how to use it. I am a novice at tiling and tiled a tub surround and a floor with great results using the levolution system. Keep in mind tiling requires a great deal of patience, and attention to detail, even with a leveling/spacing system like this. Also note, this does not replace leveling your substrates as much as possible prior to tiling. Levolution, when used correctly, will give you even grout lines and help prevent lippage. It only gets 4 stars for being pricey, but this evolver tool and the caps that hold the tiles in place are reusable so if you can get multiple uses out of this, it is a very worthy purchase!
