Review on πŸ–ΌοΈ Pack of 12 Canvas Panels - 8X10 Size by April Goracke

Very good offer for art students (hard to find this price in normal art shops)

Forget Blick, Utrecht, Artist & Craftsman and other art shops. If you specialize in painting, your teachers will likely ask you for 8.5" x 11" or 9" x 12" canvases (standard sizes for most oil/acrylic painting classes) for color study, clay study, and observational practitioners . , and gesture paintings etc. Buying a set of canvases is usually more expensive at a regular art store (or even Michael's) and so I usually browse Revain and choose Art Alternatives Canvases when a product's price is economically lower than other sellers . ' Products. The canvas is satisfactory (the quality is not very good, but suitable for temporary painting), it can withstand several layers of oil and acrylic paints, the paper backing does not sag after painting material is applied. However, since canvas panels are very stiff, paint cracking will occur if you apply too many layers of paint. Also, acrylic paintings are less scratch resistant, so try to store your work carefully. Also, if using oil paints, do not use a lot of turpentine and gumsol oil (to dilute oil paints for casting backgrounds etc.) as the canvas will obviously drip as it does not absorb oils as much as normal linen fabric. Cotton Canvas Fabric Just remember that each canvas is good for learning to paint or for temporary painting work (like your paintings in class). But if you are trying to create more durable and professional paintings, I suggest that you buy (or make your own) framed linen/cotton canvases instead of canvases.
