Bought to watch shows in bed on my iPad. He is excellent at that. I was impressed by the thickness of the metal. The hands are strong and of good quality. The connections are quite rigid - it can easily hold the laptop without falling. Speaking of laptops, this can be used as a laptop cooler. There will be enough unobstructed airflow for your laptop even when it's lying flat and resting on a pillow. When folded it is about 2.5 cm thick - maybe a hair's breadth more. It is not the lightest due to its heavy weight. However, you can be sure that it is strong enough for heavy laptops. It's overkill for my iPad, but I still like it.
