Maybe it's my ignorance but it took me a while to figure out that the camera needs to be connected with an ethernet cable even if you control it exclusively over Wi-Fi internet. After you've done the initial setup, you can turn off the use of Ethernet by going into settings and clicking on the box that says Ethernet and it will switch to Wi-Fi. Then click Apply and then you can unplug the Ethernet cable. Also remember to use the ID on the bottom of the camera and use "admin" as the password until you change it. When setting up a MIPC account, make sure that you only use letters and numbers and no special characters in your password. I like the picture quality but haven't figured out the two-way audio yet. I was using my computer, not my phone, so make sure you specify the type of operating system when booting.
