Review on 🍾 Clear One Size Carbonating Carafe by SodaStream by Douglas Cochrane

This carafe works great in my SodaStream Crystal. However, the device I received was not the same as the cap shown in the picture. The lid for my original carafe has a two piece black clip that attaches to the hex lip of the carafe and the cork screws into the lid. clip. (Clamp and stopper are integrated and not separable) The glass carafe itself has no thread. This is the type shown in the photo. The decanter I received for this order has a carving in the glass and a black screw cap. The lid has a silicone or rubber gasket that should seal the carafe. We think the two-piece lid works better than this one-piece one. We use both but have found that the one-piece screw-on version doesn't hold the fizz as long. This is just our opinion. Please note that the product description mentions two types of lids, but it is not clear which one you will receive. We have an older one-piece screw mount type.
