Review on 🚴 BELL Formula MIPS Helmet: Ultimate Protection for Road Bike Enthusiasts by Daniel Elgee

4 stars overall. Here's my breakdown: 5 STAR FEATURES (Love): - bright red for visibility (black background) and to match my bike's colors - light weight - inner shell locking system easily adjustable with ratchet system (rotary handle on backrest) - good , crisp clicks but easy to rotate. - the straps are light and airy, lie flat and do not touch the ears - the straps are barely noticeable. The best I've ever had. Landing is comfortable. I was on the borderline between medium and large so I bought a large but the medium may have worked but the helmet doesn't hang on my head like the previous helmet. NOTE: The helmet fits a rounder head better than a narrow head like mine - THAT'S ALSO I appreciate the fit. - MIPS, especially in this price range. Excellent value for money and quality. 4 STAR FEATURES (for example): - Helmet side view - Vents, airflow properly compresses it to release it. - After I adjusted the chin strap in place, there was about 3 inches of unused strap dangling around (so I used tape to attach it to the strap - problem solved). 2 STAR FEATURES (don't like): - Although the fit is comfortable, I have a narrow head and the helmet looks wide. However, this is a constant problem for me and you can probably ignore it as a problem for you. OTHER: - I had no trouble fitting my helmet mirror to the helmet. It fits so well until I zip it up. I bought a "used" camp helmet - it was in perfect condition - $20 less than an already good price. This helmet is very long. If needed I will come back and update this review (6/4/2020).
