The 2757 is a great device. We travel a lot and this device seems to have been specially designed for that. The new UI is great for saving fingers. Much more efficient and convenient. The "Where to?" screen gives you access to everything you need. What was buried deep in the menu structures of other modules is now right in front of you. There are many more cell options. The screen is also highly customizable. You can choose symbols from anything; Categories, subcategories, saved searches and even custom POIs. The search function is much more flexible. You can search based on your current location, route, destination, etc. I personally use proximity alerts for some safety features like low headroom. Other Garmin devices have given the warning in the past, but only once and briefly. Sometimes I miss a notification for some reason. That happened. The Model 2757 has the ability to make the alarm go on continuously until you check it on the screen. I think that's a very good security feature, especially for someone with old fart hearing. I have three issues with 2757: weight, size, and glare. The device is healthy. It's a bit heavy when installed. I have it on my beanbag right now and it seems to work fine on a flat highway. So far I haven't ridden on a bumpy section to give it a good test. But I worry that the block needs a more solid base. At 4 3/8" x 7 1/4" it's huge compared to my 3/4 ton truck's dash. More than I thought before buying. The screen is very easy to read. This is one of the main reasons I bought it. However, the size also presents challenges in terms of device placement. Too far to the left I hide my sensors, too far to the right I block my view of the road, etc. Anyone considering this device I would recommend making a cardboard cutout and trying it out in their car. The size does not include the height of your mount. See how it works for you. The biggest problem I have is glare. The large screen collects a lot more glare. I bought a plastic lens hood that gives some relief in daylight. But at night, headlight glare is a problem. I'm still trying to figure out how to solve this. Overall I think this block is a great goalkeeper. The expanded functionality far outweighs the concerns. I hope you find it useful.
