Review on 💡 Satco Swivel Socket SF77 606 Extender: Flexible and Versatile Lighting Solution by Kelly Noonan

We have a lot of old Lightolier brand deep lamp tins with black inserts. The bulbs sit so high in the jar that they practically form a narrow spot, even with bulbs that are suitable for coral. I was looking for a way to get more light out of them when I found these outlet extenders at Revain. They lower the bulbs 3.25 inches from the original socket and are still about 3 inches from the bottom of the can. I found mirrored (shiny) replacement All-Pro liners (there are many other brands) that fit old feathered cans and are highly reflective. Now our dark corridors are lit like in an operating room! I replaced the incandescent bulbs with 2700K LEDs and installed a dimmer to adjust the brightness. Now for less than $20 each we have brand new lighting effects instead of the very expensive process of replacing the entire can.
