Looks solid and does what it's supposed to

I like the porcelain construction, it's nice and solid. The only reason I'm taking it off a star is because it says it will go a full 90 degrees and it resists my bending so much and I'm afraid if I push harder I might break. Since the less than 90 degree angle I bent it to is just enough to get the bulb out of the downlight for better lighting, I decided not to force it. I would definitely buy it again and maybe buy a few more for a few of my closets. Existing recessed downlights don't scatter

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Just awesome! for lamp sockets

We have a lot of old Lightolier brand deep lamp tins with black inserts. The bulbs sit so high in the jar that they practically form a narrow spot, even with bulbs that are suitable for coral. I was looking for a way to get more light out of them when I found these outlet extenders at Revain. They lower the bulbs 3.25 inches from the original socket and are still about 3 inches from the bottom of the can. I found mirrored (shiny) replacement All-Pro liners (there are many other brands) that fit

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

will not bend 90 degrees - snaps into place

I bought four of these for stage lighting and they all had this problem. First the positive. This was the only block I could find for this purpose that wasn't a standard gooseneck. I just wouldn't trust this spotlight design, not even the lighter LED spotlight. Second unique. The ball swivel has a "stop" so it cannot twist the wires inside as expected. But in addition there is a ratchet on the thread, which clicks when the knot is screwed in clockwise. This may have been done to prevent…

Pros
  • Solid finish
Cons
  • Damaged
