Review on DANCO VersiTech Black Cartridge for GLACIER BAY Tub and Shower Faucets (10773) by Nico Ramdeen

Mine was brought to me with the problem of not being able to turn off the water in the shower after installation. As a previous reviewer said, it will always leak, albeit more slowly, when in the off position. I've tried thoroughly cleaning the brass body that the cartridge fits into with vinegar to break up any mineral deposits that might interfere with the seal on the back, but that didn't help. Eventually (after too much time) I found out that it was possible to pull out the water inlets on the back of the cartridge and found that one of the o-rings was misaligned and the inlets didn't fit snugly into the cartridge body (picture attached ). After reinstalling the O-ring, the cartridge worked perfectly. I used it as a replacement for Glacier Bay part #507190.
